Medjool Date Halwa
INGREDIENTS
1 cup medjool dates
1 cup half & half milk
1 stick unsalted butter
1 choti elaichi (green cardamom)
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove seeds from dates and roughly chop up into smaller pieces.
Blend chopped dates with half & half.
Melt butter in a frying pan. As soon it completely melts, add blended date mixture and choti elaichi.
Cook on medium heat until the color is a few shades darker and the consistency thickens. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
