Medjool Date Halwa

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup medjool dates

  • 1 cup half & half milk

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 1 choti elaichi (green cardamom)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove seeds from dates and roughly chop up into smaller pieces.

  2. Blend chopped dates with half & half.

  3. Melt butter in a frying pan. As soon it completely melts, add blended date mixture and choti elaichi.

  4. Cook on medium heat until the color is a few shades darker and the consistency thickens. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
